A non-standard component only works if it is made to spec, every time. A tenth of a millimeter off on a mating feature means scrap, rework, or a failure in the field. Here is what tight-tolerance manufacturing buys your program.
Non-standard by design — we build to your spec, not a catalog SKU.
±0.005 mm via wire EDM, ±0.01 mm via CNC machining for critical assemblies.
Six manufacturing pillars under one roof — one partner, end to end.
Integrated process with no vendor hand-offs means faster turns and fewer delays.
One-stop production and volume efficiency keep custom pricing competitive.
Inspection, CMM verification and documented traceability on every order.
DFM and technical review to optimize your part for manufacture.
Export packaging, documentation and logistics for worldwide industrial partners.
Non-standard precision components from Changye power products across the industrial spectrum — from optoelectronics to automotive.
Mounts, housings, heat sinks and mechanical interfaces for photoelectric and optical systems.
Structural, powertrain and connector hardware built for volume and reliability.
Fixtures, actuators, frames and precision mechanical parts.
Tight-tolerance components where fit and cleanliness are critical.
Enclosures, brackets and EDM-cut details for high-precision assemblies.
Custom mechanical parts and shells for connected devices.
Ideal for die casting and lightweight structural hardware.
Forged, machined and stamped parts requiring strength and corrosion resistance.
Conductive and precision-turned components.
Complex, light, high-performance alloy components.
For machined insulators, fixtures and non-conductive parts.
Wire EDM handles materials standard cutters struggle with.
Turning and milling are complementary metal-cutting processes. Knowing which fits a given feature is how we hit ±0.01 mm efficiently. Changye runs both on multi-axis machines so a single component can be turned and milled in one setup.
In turning, the part rotates at high speed against a stationary single-point cutter. It is the fastest, cleanest route to cylindrical and axisymmetric parts — shafts, bushings, pins, threaded studs and connectors — with excellent surface finish and repeatability on round geometries.
In milling, a rotating multi-point cutter removes material from a stationary part. It excels at complex, non-round geometry — brackets, plates, housings, fixtures and custom enclosures — including 3D contours on 5-axis machines.
| Aspect | CNC Turning | CNC Milling |
|---|---|---|
| Workpiece motion | Rotates at high speed | Stationary (clamped) |
| Cutting tool | Single-point, stationary | Multi-point rotating cutter |
| Best geometry | Cylindrical / axisymmetric | Complex contours, cavities, flat & 3D features |
| Typical axes | 2-axis (X/Z); live tooling adds mill | 3-axis standard; 5-axis for advanced contours |
| Key strength | Speed & finish on round parts | Flexibility on intricate shapes |
| Changye industrial use | Shafts, bushings, pins, connectors, threaded & cylindrical fittings | Brackets, plates, housings, fixtures, optical/mechanical mounts, enclosures |
A precision mount may be milled for its bolt pattern and contours, then turned for a concentric bore. Because both live on our floor, we combine operations in a single setup — tighter concentricity, fewer handling errors, shorter lead time.

Dongcheng District, Dongguan — at the center of China’s manufacturing hub and global logistics network.
Forging, die casting, CNC turning & milling, sheet metal, stamping and wire EDM on one floor.
CMM and precision measurement for critical features and first-article verification.
Raw stock to finished, inspected component without leaving our facility.
From single prototypes to high-volume production runs.
Documentation and packaging ready for international shipment.

Tight tolerances only matter if they are verified and repeatable. Ours are — at every critical stage, with full traceability.
Wire EDM: ±0.005 mm for the most complex geometries. CNC machining: ±0.01 mm for critical assemblies. Critical features are verified on precision metrology (CMM) before release.
Inspection at critical stages · CMM verification for custom tooling · in-process documentation & traceability · real-time monitoring of dimensional accuracy across all six pillars.
| Factor | Changye Custom | Standard Shop | Fragmented / Multi-Vendor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best tolerance | ±0.005 mm (EDM) · ±0.01 mm (CNC) | ±0.02 – ±0.05 mm | Variable; inconsistent |
| Design flexibility | Unlimited (non-standard) | Limited to SKUs | Limited by each shop’s expertise |
| Quality consistency | 100% in-house; full traceability | Good; limited customization | Vendor-dependent; hard to trace |
| Lead time | Integrated, no hand-offs | Moderate | Coordination overhead between vendors |
| Single-point accountability | One partner, end to end | Partial | Split across suppliers |

Yes. Our CNC precision machining pillar covers multi-axis turning and milling — and we often combine both in a single setup for tighter concentricity and shorter lead time.
Absolutely — non-standard customization is our specialty. We build to your drawing, material and tolerance rather than a fixed catalog.
Aluminum, zinc, magnesium and specialty alloys; steel and stainless; copper and brass; engineering plastics; and hard/exotic metals via wire EDM.
We support everything from single prototypes to medium-to-high volume production, with no hard minimum order quantity. Prototypes are typically delivered in 5–7 days; volume lead times are assessed by quantity and process complexity. With a flexible line and standardized process, unit cost drops as volume rises.
Yes. We run custom orders from single prototypes upward, with no penalty for low volume during the prototyping phase.
Yes. We produce to the standard and documentation framework your program requires, with inspection and traceability built in.
Our engineering team is ready to discuss your non-standard precision component and show how Changye’s six-pillar capability can accelerate your timeline and tighten your tolerances.
